This photo was taken through the glass window of a room where the caretakers of the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle National Shrine keep all the lighted candles to burn until they die off naturally.

I think this is one of the better religious shots I've seen so far. I can't help but to want to see it as a horizontal instead of vertical so that the two candles on either side is not cut off.

Very interesting shot. I'd be curious to know if you tried a shot from a higher angle where there'd be more of the repetition of candletop "circles" and less of the dark? I'd love to see it if you try'd that.
