 After the challenge end: Looked at my entry again and was horrified by my post processing. In no more than 5 minutes in PS, was able to come up with this "shoulda-woulda-coulda" entry....

This photo is uncropped, taken at minimum distance (several feet) at 200mm, hand-held, with image stabilization.

I like this shot. It has balance and symmetry. The clean lines of the plant stems nicely equalize the tattered fringe of the insect's wings.

- Cloned out a couple dust spots on the plant stem
- Cloned out small imperfection on the top right portion of the wing
- Saturated yellows, reds, and greens
- USM
