After Contest:

Being Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to honor our veterans by emphasizing the U.S. flag in the photo by turning this creation into desaturated photo, mostly red, white & blue.
Since the four elements specifically list air, I quite naturally thought that a wonderful blue sky would qualify.
Finally, even though the Earth on which the stadium was built could not be seen, the thousands of fans consisting of most earth & water certainly could be.

I realize that my thinking in preps for these challenges is a bit "deep" for "average Joe on the street", but I repeat that everytime I include one like this, I compliment the membership of DPC by expecting people of great intelligence to "get" me...IMHO. :)

sky looks unnatural. crop is too tight - had been better with the whole flag visible. I see little sense in the selective desaturation.
