WOW nick .. this is more than awesome, more than stunning .. in fact, for once i'm speachless .. except to say that it looks like they went out'v business !!!
your Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM is looking extremely attractive .. went to amazon.com to check out the price of such a wonderful lens ....$2,399.99 reduced to $682.89 ..You Save: $1,717.10 (72%) ... wots the catch?? ..
i was thinking that my next lens would have to be a wide angle and this might be it ... if i survive the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro and after a suitable period of time of course ..:)x
edit a minute later after feasting my eye's on this incredible image one last time before closing ... i'd love to see a critique on this .. i dont think they could say one 'negative' thing about it .. :)

This is so powerful, and so moving, re that super textured sky.....
One cannot help to look and look at this image, and be totally captuvated and drawn into the image.....
Awesome tones here, and a magical image, to view over and over again..... |

It's my goal to take a photo such as this one day. To come across the perfect subject at just that perfect moment in time to produce an image with such a feeling and atmosphere to it.
What a contrast between the desolation of the scene and the joy the sign alludes to. Perfect. |

| This has a lonely feel to it. Lots of shadowy tones with the brightness of the far off sky. I like it. Makes you want to knock on that door and see if anyone is inside. ;>D |
