Definitely a different and very creative approach to the challenge - shows thought and careful preparation, as well as attention to the exposure to keep both your foreground and background in sync. (I had to do the same thing with my vineyard - you'd not recognize the original!) |

a lovely and creative image, with some thought behind it. well done indeed. i thnk my main probelm with it as a whole is the difference between the image quality of the earth and the landscape. |

Blah. Without the earth in this, it would have been just another landscape. We see those all the time, but you created something unique!! But sometimes that doesn't get rewarded like it should, I suppose. |

I think just the pier and spectacular sky would have given you a 6, at least. But, sometimes I guess you live and learn. |

The contrasting colors are beautiful. I really like this composition. There is a very slight halo around the earth, but maybe this was intentional. It is a little distracting to me. Great, creative photo!8 |

I know the photo is validated (so not hinting towards illegal or anything like that), but the way you have your picture it looks as if you just took a picture of the earth and pasted it on this one. In other words, it doesn't look like it belongs. You probably would do better if you had just left the part thats in the background (the sunset). |

hmmm, don't know quite how to vote on this. it is a nice piece, but i think the globe might be too distracting for me. the background photo is a nice shot, crisp and colorful, but the globe seems artifical so it throws it off. |

I do love the idea here and the sunset picture alone looks beautiful..I just feel that the blue earth is too bold-I feel that it needs to be softer in colour.. |

This would have been a beautiful photo w/o the earth picture in it imo. |

This just doesn't look real here. I know you wanted people to see that you captured Earth, water and the color of fire but I think the picture would have done tremendously better without the earth trying to come out and attack me. You have a beautiful sky in the background and the reflection of water is great with the dock and everything and then you messed up with the giant earth. IMO. |
