While the color version is nice, this cropped B&W version is better, in my opinion. I really like the razor thin DOF on this. Has an understated elegance to it. |

I don't take this so much as a mess as I do a study in light, lines and shadow, and for that, it's really strong. Good DoF to get the desired result, and lots of interesting bits to look at. Excellent. |

This is actually a good abstract mess. :D At first I thought they were garlic cloves. Pretty cool shot man. |

I don't know... as far as abstract mess phases go, this is pretty good. Has a nice smooth feeling to it and I love the frame. |

Abstract, yes. But mess? No. I think this is really pretty! I love flowers when they have that soft dreamy look to them. The color version is really striking too! Beautiful photography if you ask me :)

I find it to be a very interesting abstract mess. Look forward to seeing others whilst you struggle through. Great composition. |

man .. gorgeous shapes here ..
i just put a comment on your colour version .. and was pleasantly surprised when i looked at this one again .. when comparing with the colour the b&w suffered .. but without the comparison i'm finding more and more to like in this one .. i'm now liking them as much as each other, only in different ways .. excellent close-up .. delicate and subtle .. lovely ..:) |
