Car runs a mild cam something near to what they call radical. During downshifting the exhaust valves will open during combustion and the flames will blow out of the tail pipe.

I hope to get a few captures like this later on.

I like the fire spurt you've captured. the white balance is a little off - seems a bit blue. the top of the car is cut off nearly at its boundary. a good frozen action shot.

Someone was at Winton! Personally would have preferred the whole car but a 10 anyway. Had it been a ford . . .
