Greetings from the Critique Club
Oh, it's Stan Hazelton; the one who gives such nice,gentle comments over at Post Processing Challenge. Hi.
I hope I can do as well on this very nice image I see before me. I agree wholeheartedly with your other commenters that you did a super job on the desaturation of these blossoms. It's a slow and meticulous job.
I'll do a 'however' here and suggest that if your background had been blurred out just a bit more into total obscurity this image would have popped nicely. The leaves and the blossom branch make an excellent composition by themselves; the background is a touch confusing.

Good job - it must have taken a while to out-line each purple blosom! I might suggest adding a little contrast, but otherwise, good shot. |

mmm, we don't have flowers on ours yet. I'm looking forward to it as we have two massive 16-20 foot bushes in our backyard. I don't think the bricks add the texture you want. 5 |
