 converted to b&w with hue/saturation adjustment layer and desaturated ... did other adjustment layers with channel mixer, levels and colour balance to get the right black & white tones ..

this is wot i did coz i wanted to add some interest .. i'm sure there will be many ppl who prefer it simple and without the added images ...

I have to say while I like your composite very much, I think this is a fine image all on its own. Love the subtlety and mystery of it.
