this photograph wrenches my heart .. the look in those eyes .. the trust, the pleading, the love .. dogs are definitely man's best friend ... we have two dogs, and they are a constant source of pure and unadulterated joy, love, gut wrenching humour, etc etc etc ...
could you walk away from this dog?? ... :) |

| Wonderful available light shot, with so much emotion in the eyes. I would actually like to see a bit wider crop, to the outside of the bars, so it is almost immediately apparent that he is in a cage (and hopefully why), and which might isolate him a bit more in the image. I do like it as is, though, and I definitely wouldn't crop it any tighter. |

| really great clarity in the eyes, I like the closup perspective, i think this could have been cropped a little tighter but the lighting is awesome |

great focus! My camera always ends up focusing on the nose. D'oh....I need an slr sooo bad. Very cute, I like how he's looking to the side as if he's expecting something.
