I really like the crispness and contrast of the boat against the more muted grays of the shore and land. That works very well.

this is totally EXCELLENT .. everything is pretty soft and subtle and then you have the boat which is not soft or subtle at all .. the boat stands out so well in this scene .. an impressive photograph ..

Love the choice of portrait orientation and how you placed it in the frame - very crisp looking shot. I wonder if the shot could be processed to get a bit more contrast in the background and reduce the blown-out bits of the sky. Then again, I don't know if better contrast in the background would help the image - as it is now, the foreground subject just pops out at you in relation to the relatively uniform midtones of the background. Well, it's a thought. :)
