man there is something about old buildings that just draws me, i like to daydream about what they were like in their heyday and walk around inside them, tho that looks dangerous with this one |

Wow a picture for the history books. Your capture really shows off the detioration of the building. The part caving in does get your attention. |

Its a five star hotel...At night you can see them through the hole in the roof!
I do love the sense of dilapidation that you have caught here, which combines with a slight sense of menace (when I saw it the first thing I thought of was the Bates motel in psycho!)
Lovely composition and excellent the way the window and crack on the larger building runs down the rule of third line. This along with pinebough is my favourite of yours in the competition! |

What a very cool place! Too bad they have to take it down but I'm guessing the structure just isn't strong enough to be rebuilt. Or it would cost too much, which is the more likely scenario. This might also look lovely with a sepia tone and perhaps a bit of grain to keep with it's age. |

Wow! It IS beautiful in its rugged old way! Darn. I wish they would have restored this one! I'm so glad you have some pictures of it before it is gone. The picture is awesome!

Wjat an interesting hotel/building thing. I love the random curved and straight line. I like how some of the buildings are falling apart. I would like to see more gray in the sky to go with the grayness in the buildings. |

Wow! Glad you got the images when you did. It would be a pity not to have done so. Very nice! |

Burning at the stake seems a poor way to end life - I thought those tree huggers up there had some thoughts about global warming and recycling. Just goes to show that stereotypes are misleading. Nice photo. |

What a fascinating property this is - almost looks like three or four houses collapsing on each other...I think the composition is very strong here. Maybe consider a little dodging on the side of the bottom house? Anyway, I really like this. Very interesting photo. |
