Vine thing growing out back, in the last light of day after a rainshower.

I'll look up my processing if anyone is interested, but the last bit was using Color Balance to add the greenish tint, by adding green, yellow and just a bit of red. High ISO again, handheld.

Glorious limitations of a natural light/handheld close view are presented - pleasing gray/green tone rendering. beautiful vine thing. beautiful.

I love the hint of green. Very cool how the berries(?) kind of pop out of the picture.

Great flower close up and great application of the rule of third. As ever your dof is spot on and the colour balance works fantastically

Wow - this does have a definite greenish tint, but I like it. I think the tint definitely enhances it. I do agree with Roz that the berries might benefit from a touch of sharpening, and I'm not sure about the leaf on the far left side. I'm really glad you shared this, though, as it is interesting to see what minor toning adjustments will do to/for a photo!

composition is simple and the photo is striking...don't really know what it is, but it works for me!

hey deb .. great photograph altho i'd personally like it a bit sharper or focused on the berries .. which is just my opinion and ppl with more of an idea will love this just the way it is!! ..:) .. i like the colour hue, coz altho it really is still b&w in my eyes, it has that suggestion of green which goes with your subject very well .. i did a similar thing with my bracken for day 7, but didnt make it quite as green as this one .. i like your border ..

Hey Deb, great shot!! I love the green tones!! BUT...DNMC DNMC!!! ROFL, J/K!!! I like how just the bud thingys and the leaf on the right are in sharp focus and the rest of the vine thing is blurred!! Nice work!
You asked about the processing steps in my day 8 shot "Fires of Industry", I did the same thing with day 9 Gothic and listed the steps in it, you can find it in my Port under 30 day folder. Great shot, keep 'em coming!!

Dang! That is awesome! The background is so rich! And the little berries couldn't possibly be more beautiful against them.
