this is bethany who is a twin .. her sister is called alex and i've known them since they were crawling around .. but i still have to ask "are you beth?!" ... this is at parents group i go to .. and they love being photographed, altho i dont like them posing.. but bethany is a poser anyway!!!

as you can see from the camera settings it was quite dark ..

converted to b&w with adjustment layer in hue/sat .. did a curves and channel mixer .. a tiny bit of kodak airbrush .. realised just now that i forgot to sharpen .. would've been nice for her eyes .. might do it later .. did a white vignette which i pretty much erased all of anyway .. border & saved for web ...
i might sharpen it tomorrow .. i've got to go out 15 minutes ago!!!

Wow, Roz - beautifully clear, luminous, soft and pretty. You did Beth justice and created a gorgeous portrait! Considering the ISO, the quality is excellent.

Roz!!! This is PRECIOUS! She does look kind of like she's posing, but it looks naturally "unposed" too with her hands over her face like that. I adore those little freckles, and the way you have processed this. This may be one of my favorites of your photos. I'm impressed too that you got it so focused and sharp with only a 1/50 shutter speed!
