Exposed shot for highlights and used Fred Mirandas SRpro to extract shadow detail. Curves layer applied and a Blue/Orange Gradient Map layer applied at 75% opacity. Frame added.

Looks almost like a painting. I think the composition would be enhance by a regular border. You have a nice subject that is overwhem by the framing.

I would like to see the original colors of this photo. The colors used are not very strong at conveying the old worn out message of the subject. Also, I don't think the framing choice is necessary. You have a good subject, just a little too much editing imho.

Hmmm...... I can see how this relaters to water, but it's difficult to see the water.

I think the border or post-shot manipulation you have done spoils this shot. [5]

I am not sure I would reallize it's under water without the title. Water could be more accented here, anyway the photo itself is very nice! :-)

well, for starters, it's nice and crisp and the lighting is good. and it's clearly a boat. not sure how that ties in with the title. i think you also may have overdone the photoshop. that might be hurting you here. also, the LMVs may vote you down for not actually showing water.
