I like the composition with more foreground and less background. I would've chose the latter but I think yours works better! |

how lovely that you could get so close and she was so relaxed ... i can hardly wait to see your photographs when those cygnets finally hatch ...:)
edit a second later ... after i posted this i saw sandy's comment ... so it seems that not only you, me and sandy are waiting expectantly for those babies, but the swan, as well ...!!:)

Awwww. I love these birds! Their clean white color is so perfect for a black and white photo! I hope you will post some pictures of the babies when they finally arrive :)

i like that the title is really changing the way i perceive this picture. i like her pose, i'm guessing you captured her right when she's going to sleep. and love the way she looks at you. |

Defintely an unusual pose you don't often see in a 'bird shot'. Composition is really holding this back, otherwise a nice shot. |
