| learning is what it's all about. i love what you did with the background and the sky - i get the sense of something rolling in. really nice contrast with the trees against the background! |

I disagree, this is not a dull shot, it is a snapshot of simple beauty. I think it's lovely. The only thing that captured my eye and didn't do the rest of the shot justice was the road marker in the middle of the shot ... I'd take the time to practice cloning and try to get rid of it. (Maybe I'm just the crazy old lady who likes to practice cloning out things!?!?!?) The other road marker sort of disappears into the trees, so I wouldn't worry abot that one, but the one in the middle of the shot kept drawing my eye there.
The fog sure adds to this shot and I really love the beauty you've preserved. Nice job. |

| I like the dark tress and good textures with the branches. The gentle slope of the driveway is also a plus. A nice photo! |

well i've stepped over to your side of the street and i find that ITS NOT DULL AT ALL!!!! ... in fact i love this image ... love the scene ... love the darkness and especially love the squiggly branches silhouetted .. there's not much contrast in this, but i think it works because it gives a fairly sombre feel ... i like sombre!!!!!!!
comparing with the original i can say that you've certainly brought this to life with your processing .. |

OK, a couple of things here...
Nice image in itself, but having looked at the original shot I can only applaud you in the pp work you have done on this shot, which has really paid dividends on this image
I know from previous posts/entries you say you have been struggling a bit with PP but you have cracked it in this shot BIG TIME!!!! |

| Nice job of capturing (and keeping) the fog. It's easy to obliterate it in processing. Scene is, as you say, not the most exciting but it's a nice study in black and white. Good work. |
