OOhhhh how I wish those leaves on the right side weren't there! This is an otherwise perfect shot! I can see the intent in his eyes and there is such wonderful detail. (love the border)

Cute cat. I do like the color one better for this one, though. You have some nice tones in the fur pattern, but the orange against the green is what really brings this photo out the best.

hi rob !! ... i just love this photograph .. i especially love the sort'v shadow over his eyes .. the focus is spot on around his face, the eyes and whiskers especially .. oh yeah .. those hairs in his ears too!! .. love the oof in the background .. an unusual composition but i feel it really works ... i like your border tho .. thats a reference to the fact that you didnt like mine !!!!!!!:):):):) ..

Lovely photo, perfect for B & W - just not liking the frame how those black lines seem to run away past the photo.

It looks great in B/W, so much contrast, but I like the colour version better overall, because I think the colours really are very much part of the story here.

BTW - that's a killer border!

While I do like the color version, simply because the cat is such a cool color, I really like the B&W. Well composed, well lit shot - the basic elements to a good B&W are there, so the shot works well.

Wonderful as a black and white image, and a great example of an "in your face" type of shot, that works.....

Love the depth of tone, and also the wonderful textures.....
Yes, the DOF is pretty good as well.....
