I need to try this again, with better lighting off the hands - I know I can get a better glint off them! Also might try a different placement of the second hand above the main ones, so there's more directional variety in the composition.

I find that I'm hampered by my lens - my macro isn't macro enough for me to get as up close as I would like - I sense another macro lens in my future and less money in my bank account. :)

Used level adjustments, channel mixer and contrast levels to convert and tried out a sepia photo filter at a density of 60%.

Congrats on this find. The grime and the details on the numbering and the clock parts really works beautifully. ALSO the cropping works tremendously here.

Ooooooh I like this one. It looks so wonderfully old and vintage. The shadows make it look really 3-dimensional.

This is awesome!

Very good detail, good tones to match the age of the clock.

Great I love the evolution of this image from yesterdays.

For me this works much much better. The tighter crop on the face together with the fact that you can see all three hands clearly makes for a much nicer image and you have done this without losing out on any of the key elements of the previous shot

Lovely

I like this one. There is a touch of warmth in the white tones, lending itself to the nostalgia of the old clock. I like the detail of the second hand and the twist of the other two.

I think you've got the right angle on the second hand. Nice lighting, with diffuse shadows.

Again, a great image of time, looking like it comes from thw past, re the aging quality of the subject matter, and the tonal range.....
