Taken in the evening as light was beginning to diminish. I love the way the area of the dandelion where the seeds have gone almost looks like chicken skin

Converted to B&W
Sharpened
Slight Crop

Wow, the level of detail is stunning. Great job in capturing all the lovely details on this dandelion - right down to the exposed stem from where some seeds have taken flight. Contrast is excellent. The white and lighter tones of the dandelion really pop off the dark background.

Very sharp, and great tonal range. This one might be fun to play with some different crops, i.e. just the top right quarter expanded to include the two "strays".

As much as I love these shots, and they are a personal favorite of mine, really. I always think what the lawn nuts think when they see these full-blown dandelions.
My way of thinking, I much prefer to see these beautiful shots from dandelions than the pristine green lawns.

wonderful detail and lighting - I like how two of the seeds are 'out of place'

You captured amazing detail here. Very clear and beautifully luminous. Like the way it fills the frame, too.

Nice symmetry The focus is perfect. I'm not always a fan of the centered subject, but this works.

Oh, and you have filled the frame VERY nicely! This is so pretty! I love those soft, wispy things. They look so dreamy and elegant. I think I like this best of all 4 of your days so far :)

Hmmm. And I was going to say this one's a bit too tight :) Seriously, I really do think it is a bit too tight. The area you call chicken skin (great observation) is beautiful.

Very nice! And yes, this does make for a nice "fill the frame" kind of shot. Quite pretty in B&W.
