Bold and brilliant. :) So creative and unique... as so many of your photos are!

Looks like a case of shutter delay. Just kidding. I like it but maybe more building and less street.

i see what you mean. after reading your comment i started seeing it as if he's stepping into the picture backwards, as well. it almost feels like i'm watching a film while slowly rewinding it :)

This is about saying good-bye, but it's funny instead of sad. There is, after all, something freeing about loss. We are losing something that chained us to this world.

The exiting person is cropped in such a way that he seems like a one-legged acrobat defying gravity. He is also going against the "left to right" grain that is part of my culture, so that he seems to be ending through the beginning. He is also on top of the picture, defying gravity even more, and the bottom of the picture is dedicated to a road that is not being used. This fellow uses the road less traveled, and that has made all the difference.

Composition: a perfectly balanced geometry of lines. Foot touches down right in the middle of this photo's y axis. A perceived diagonal is achieved from the endpoints of the white lines in the road, going in the same direction as the diagonals in the sidewalk. The rest of your lines are perfect verticals and horizontals. What you have is a nice geometrical stage for your crazy acrobat.

I find this photo uplifting, hopeful, quirky, and laughing in the face of death. I find in it a bravery that I can use.

i think this almost looks surreal. at first it looks like a man taking a long step forward. but when i look at it more it is like its a man with just one foot leaning on into the frame. i like the bend of the knee and the shoe. i find the lower part just a bit distracting, and i would personally tried a 3:4 crop or maybe even 1:1? Just some thoughts which could be completely wrong for the picture.

Initial feeling is that the protagonist has a heck of a long stride. The - - - of the road seems to accentuate his/her disappearing out of the frame. Human actor in a world of visual symbols.

My first reaction: I want to turn this into a horizontal shot. After more thought - maybe not, not sure. :)

There is a lot of movement, both due to the fragment of the pedestrian moving out of the frame, and due to the white lines in the bottom part, moving in the opposite direction. You caught a cool movement phase of the pedestrian, I like the bend of the sole of the shoe, and grotesquely long stride of the thin leg.

The position of the graffiti "Aber" is too prominent, so I thought for a while whether it had any meaning. Not having found any meaning, I think that it would be better to cut it with the edge of the frame or to place it in a less significant position, but I may be missing something. Also, the graffiti balances the composition, perhaps it would fall apart without it.

the 2 unfortunately merely stood for the fact that this is the second day of the 30 day B&W challenge. nothing to do with the picture itself.

What I see are the lines and curves from the subject making an implied 2. Great coincidence, eh? Or maybe my eyes are far too wide open - I may need to ease up on the coffee ;)

great eye Rina, i think you're doing real good with the coffee ;) they do make an implied 2 really :)

I'm also quite fond of shots where the subject is leaving the frame as opposed to entering. Not sure why that is.

Very nice, Sevil. I like the divisions in the shot, emphasized nicely by the dashed lines of varying length on the road.

Good example of Street Photography. I'd actually like to see a little more contrast also. Nice job.

This is neat how the person is walking out of the frame. Might be nice with a bit more contrast and maybe even some grain to make for a gritty street scene. But it's good the way it is, too.

an interesting and arty shot ... i like all the lines going everywhere ... even the line formed by the heel of the shoe and the leg, coz they contrast in angle with the lines formed by the bricks, the paint on the road, the pavement and the gutter etc ... this shot really benefits from the graffiti ... its an excellent element in this unusual image ..
