Shutter: 1/200

 Used a CPL filter to bring the colors of the sky and sea out.

Post Process:

1. Curves on the sky to increase the blue and bring out the clouds. A little brigtness/contrast too.
2. Brightness/contrast + saturation on the cliff island and some clarify (PSP function).
3. Saturation, curves og clarify on the sea and boats.
4. Removed at yact in the background.
5. Rotated, resize and USM.

Wow! What could I say to ad to this shot. The colors are beautiful, the lighting is awesome, the composition is wonderful. The *only* thing I would suggest to have a bit more room on the left side of the frame. But, that is terribly minor.

Awesome shot and very deserving of the ribbon. Congrats!!!

Oh, my goodness! What a gorgeous photo!

Thanks for the others which you linked to this - I think all of them are very atmospheric and evocative. I like the dramatic lighting and filtering you use, or rather postfiltering. I think you would produce some highly saleable images with additional software. I was most impressed with some shots the other week, enhanced with lucisart software. There is a free 30-day trial just now, so I am going to download it when I have a free weekend

I am sure you will have many more ribbons, and every good wish for your successful married life!

Awesome. This brought some fond memories of my trip to the "James Bond" island, and Thailand many years ago. The tranquil setting in front of you has no refelction to the huge crowd of tourists behind you. Hee hee. I hope your honeymoon went well.

I really like this picture but I think the one of the same subject but different angle was a little stronger compositionally other than the fact that the end of the boat on the far left is cropped out. Good Job.

Wait a minute, wait a minute. Take a look at Mr. Atli's top 4 scoring images. All Free Studies....Looks like he knows how to score exceptionally high in Free Studies, which is basically cheating right?

Okay, kidding. I love the colors. The composition is screwy, but I don't think anyone cares because the beauty supercedes it.

lovely image! the sky is amazing.. the water is so beautiful.. I'm jealous!! I want to be shooting there! nice coloring on the boats, makes the shot stand out more, the rock is a bit distracting, but its part of the landscape so I guess it has to stay ;) really nice image, good luck :) 8

I believe that place suffered badly from the tsunami a fews years back. Also the place where elephants swim from island to mainland with their mahouts (if that's the word). Lovely exotic photo. 8.
