Thanks for the comments. tooohip was perfectly right in guessing that it would not do too well. During the vote, a forum-topic listed loads of members giving low grades for any picture that did not meet the rule of thirds exactly. It probably affected my score, but this was more of a joke than a picture that was going to score.

I agree with linusatpug, pinegan and indecline, that the pic could have used a wider DOF. Technically, I would not considere this to be one of my better pictures.

markopella's comment really made me laugh. I am not sure wether he is serious, or just playing along, but in both cases, his comment is hilarious. :D

I almost never consider the title of a work in judging it but this is very clever.

I think it's considered untidy to put the whole thing in your mouth! :>)

might've looked a little better with a wider DOF - to me the blur in the front distracts from the shot

okay, so the rule of thirds isn't a picture of something cut into thirds. It's a composition method where the subject isn't centered. Instead imagine a tic-tac-toe board overlaid on your viewfinder. Put your subject on one of the intersecting points. Usually results in a more interesting photo. 6.

with a more defined depth of field this would have taken this shot to the next level - good lateral thinking

Original idea, but probably won't go over well with this crowd. ;-)
