My intention was that the entire light area with the disappearing birdfeeder was the subject. IMHO this meets the challenge because the lower left crossing point falls within this area.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Hi Stan!

While this image clearly does meet the challenge it lacks an wow overall appeal. The trees make for a lovely backdrop, but the eye is drawn immediately away by the bright sun. The bird feeder almost seems accidental in the shot since the sun is so much brighter and thus more dominant. I think the same shot with the sun lined up through the feeder would have been quite dynamic.

Hope that helps.

I like how the tree is framing the top portion of the shot and the blue sky.. but it seems blown out too much around the sun. technically very difficult shot, still nicely done!

I don't see this as meeting the challenge. The main subject is too close to the corner to be considered following the rule of thirds.

I feel lost looking here, trying to figure out whose backyard I am in. I don't see anything at the intersections for the challenge.

Just doesn't fit the challenge IMO and there's no real subject here. Nice try though.
