Recipe:
Orange wedge, for rim
Cocoa, for rim
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz creme de cacao
Hershey's Kiss, for garnish

Wet the rim of a martini glass with orange wedge and dip rim in cocoa to coat. Pour vodka and creme de cacao over a handful of ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until cold, then strain into prepared glass. Drop Hershey's Kiss into the bottom of the glass, for garnish.

Some post-shot cloning of some stray cocoa powder, selective darkening of the black background and removal of a slight shadow on the right side. The Hershey's Kiss was suspended in the air by a skewer, on which I dripped Hershey's syrup and captured the drip with the 1-second exposure. The glass is sitting in a "pool" of Hershey's chocolate syrup. The "dust" is actually small air bubbles.

this does indeed look yummy--and the lighting, colors and composition are superb--however, you should ask me about *my* chocolate martini recipe! ;)

How did you do the background for this picture? It's impressive. and the colors throughout the image do remind me of chocolate.

Nice shot and well lit. Could have used the spot editing to get rid of some of the dust in the bottom of the pix

while interesting, shape not really most important aspect, I think lighting and color are - the specks on the table are distracting

Great shot, the choice of the colors here enhance you title chocolate, the unusal shape of the stem of the glass is great adding again to the shape challenge, I like it
