Great perspective! Good depth!

Absolutely perfect angle on the jacks, and great to see the detail of driveway and flowerbed. Don't like that can see top of fence and sky - too uneven. I like this as a panoramic shot cropping the top 3rd, and a little off the bottom.

Great idea but the background is very distracting. I would like it better if it were a closeup of a few jacks with just the grass and possibly the flowers as the background.

This is a superb shot. I really like the angle you have chosen - it's a real kids eye view. I also love the colours and the summery atmosphere and the composition is first class… Great shot (10)

I really like the perspective here, but a simpler backround would have put more emphasis on your subject.

dont know why...i like it. the little jacks seem to be marching along

Ouch. I don't think I'd play jacks on that surface ;o) Nice yard btw. I like the blue sky as well.

Very well done!! Original too!!

nice composition. I like the way the ball and jacks pick up the colors of the flowers.

Nice perspective for a close up. I like it.

I am not sure what Jacks is all about (we didn't have them in the UK when I was young). I think your photo depicts a happy childhood, which is somewhat too rosy for my liking. However, the photo is nice and appropriate (playing jacks in the back garden?). The focus seems a little soft to me, perhaps a shorter depth of field (can you say shorter???) would have drawn more attention to the Jacks. Overall, I like this photo. Well done.

nice perspective

I love the concept but the background seems a little too busy for me. 6.

Very nice angle and great background. I like it. I also like the way the grass/concrete line is very close to being straight with the bottom of the frame. Focus and lighting are wonderful. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

Nicely done. I think I would have liked a higher angle, to show off the shadows of the jacks. The ball has an interesting shadow, too. Another suggestion would be movement, did you try this with the ball bouncing? You have plenty of light for a fast shutter speed. 8 Swash

Real nice low camera stand. Like the objects in front and the grass line in the back.

now this makes me think of little kids. Do kids still play this?? I never knew anyone that actually played. It is one of those things that adults always assumed we loved. (8)

I really like your DOF and the colorful background. A simple looking shot and yet so much went into it. You make it look easy.

I really like this shot. Good perspective and great colors.

Love the perspective. If not for the "newness" of the background this could be a memory of MY childhood.

The low angle is evocative of childhood, besides the choice of subject matter. I like the repetition of color between the and the flowers, and the one red jack balances the ball's focal point.
