 Thanks everyone! I like the fence, it gives a foreground distraction so the sky is not so overpowering.. I centered the fence and tree on purpose, this was a centered composition.

Wowsers. This is only image 81 out of the 305 total for me, but it's the best I've seen so far. It's gonna be hard to top this one. As for the score, it will be impossible to top this one! 10

Pretty cool, I must confess though I am a little puzzled why you chose to include that fence, I put my hand over the screen to block it out and I felt the shot was MUCH stronger had you cropped it more "square" like just above the fence. Still good though, don´t get me wrong.

This would be a stronger picture without the fence. I love the tree with the sky, but your eye keeps getting drawn to the fence.

Please remove the clutter in front of this otherwise 10 image. This is such a stunning image and the white fence is the perfect touch. Love this image!

just my opinion though...and a little touch-up on the burned-out places in the sky would make your image a 10! (hope you are not offended)

IMHO I think it would be better with the fence cropped out because I find it distracts from the tree with the amazing background!

Very beautiful composition. Did you try cropping out the fence at the bottom. I'm not saying that it would be better without the fence, but its a suggestion to try. To me, the fence is just distracting enought for me to kgive you a 9 instead of a 10. Overall, though, well done and great photograph.

The composition works fine. Personally, I like solo trees for solitude type photos. In this image I wish the tree was in focus and not blurry. Something about the horizon looks off, like you've merged too images and didn't quite get the seem right. JMO of course. :) Good luck in the challenge.

Composition is a little too centered for my taste, but I really like the transitions of tone and texture through the various portions of the photograph.
