I have a 1/2 hour left to vote, I am at 8%, oh no! I love the quality of this image, This does not fit the definition of "insects." Because you did such great work, and effort, and this image being awesome, you will recieve an 8 from me! Better get voting so it will count, right?

if you looked in the forums, you would see the debate over caterpillars... soo... DNMC... (im kidding, if you were one of the ones on that topic that was about dnmc's then you would find it funny!, i hope, or im just stupid) but honestly, i like the vibrant colors, and i give this a 9

Good crisp lines even though the shadow over him changes the hues down the length of the body. The bright white spots on the leaves are unfortunate.
