It took me a few extra seconds to actually see the little guy... even though it's in perfect focus and there almost seems to be a beam of light shining right on him.
To me this looks like what I would call a proof shot. By that I mean it's a quick shot of something cool that you took as proof that you saw it, and then you snuck up closer only to have it fly away before you could get your real shot.
It's a decent shot. You just needed to be closer for the great shot.
you could benifit by moving a little closer, or putting the insect on a rule of thirds, but i know how difficult that is... good job though, i rated this above 7 but below 10... :P
