Thanks guys for your comments. So many of you are really good. To me this picture is really unbareable. It's a shot of my daughter's toys (I lost my daughter to divorce) - so to the one who asked what the title meant... that's what it meant... a child I lost.

In colour, this picture – at best – in my opinion would have been dull. But in B&W it’s a completely different shot. The absence of colour adds atmosphere, depth and texture. The composition is first class – nice shooting… (8)

Very nice shot depicting childhood. I wonder why you went with B&W here. was it to help portray the "lost" feeling. If so, it does a very nice job of that. The angle and the focus are great. I was almost getting ready to comment on the branch in the foreground, however, with the "lost" theme, the branch fits in very nicely. Looks like it's not been played with in awhile that way. Great shot and good luck in the challenge.

black and white was a poor choice here. The reason is that the picture is all a middle greay except fo for the fence and hedge in the background.

Nice low viewpoint. Ball feels a little too close to edge of frame, otherwise nice composition. Feels a little dark despite the great highlights on the vehicule.

The title is confusing. Also the black and white feels forced with the smooth plasitic more modern toy.

Good focus, nice cropping, less than engaging subjects. 7 Swash

For this challenge the B&W pictures really are great, giving that nostalgic feeling of years flying by. Nice the low camera stand, gives the idea that things look like you saw them as a child!

I like the black and white, and the fact that this was taken froma lower angle. karmat
