This is the same guy I shot for "Chains" - only six days later. He is in the same place, both physically and metaphoricaly speaking. He is in a dark place and his drink (red wine this time, with a screw top)is always with him. His right foot appears to have been broken. I think I'll try and have a chat with him soon.

I like the picture and what you have done to it. But I'm struggling to see how it relates to the challenge.

Very powerful! It has a message in it... the sole purpose of photography.

Great perspective on the challenge theme! The title helps to pull this into the challenge which is risky if you are going for the ribbon. I love the image! I think your choice of color tone really helps to put the "down and out" mood into the shot. The metro-scape along with the grungy drips and splashes give this a feeling of an old picture in a box from some old musty smelling antique book store. It's busy and noisy and still has the feeling of being all alone. This one is getting a 10 from me. The voters tend to favor a more literal approach to the challenge theme so I hope to see this one score better with the voters than I think it will. Good luck in the challenge!

Interesting composition, but the connection to hair is just too subtle for me

I don't see the "hair" in this one but I like the vintage style that it posesses (don't know how to spell this word :P)- 8

i don't appreciate how the processing helps this photo. "hair of the dog" might be too much of a stretch, or too subtle in any case, but it's totally OOTB and i like that.

I love the processing in this shot. At first I didn't like the busy background but the more I look it, it really fits well. Great execution. 10

I'm sure that many will find that this image doesn't meet challenge.
I personally can't help and comment that this is so good image, PP is great.
So artistic, and I think I recognize the style ( surfenbird???) 10 from me
and good luck.
