 It was a toss-up between this and another shot, but being as the other shot was more of a conceptual shot, this one won my choice. I may regret it, i may not.
I may regret the fact that this might get the DNMC crowd coming in and criticising it for being a "seascape" and not a "landscape"... to anyone who mentions the word "seascape" in a criticism of this image i am just going to say this:
Dont be so pedantic, because it just backfired... this is an estuary!


Polarising filter used.

Post:
Raw conversion.
Dust removal.
Unwanted cloud and bubble/foam removal.
Shadow/highlight.
Selective Curves.
Levels.
Saturation.
Gradient Overlays set to Colour burn from top right and bottom.
Selective burning.
Border
Resize
USM

I think i used the remit of Expert editing near to it\\\\\\\'s full ;)

Very cool location. Nice job with the composition - horizon on the top third line, foreground includes the complete reflection, and the boulders/poles angle in nicely from the right. Other technicals (exposure, DOF, sharpness/focus) are right on the money as well. Well done overall. Good luck in the challenge.
