At first, this looked like just another phto of a swing. however you did a really great job lining it up and cropping and I like how you did it in black and white. The angle is really nice and lighting was great. good job and good luck in the challenge.

I would have prefered less background but probably not easy with the whole swing in focus. Nice B&W. 6

Poetic with the title, yet stands on its own.

Interesting :) I like this image quite a bit. I also like black and whites :) I wonder if there was a different angle that would have provided some more overall contrast in this photo? good work... - jmsetzler

Swings are quite popular this week. Not very original...........but a good black and white............

If hannibal lecter went on the swings this would be his. Looks almost like an S&M swing. Nice simple shot with good contrast and framing. 7 - floyd

Nice background - no distracting elements in it.
Slightly too dark.

This may not prove to be the most original idea (given the numerous similar shots) but this is my favorite of the swing shots. I like the use of B&W here, and the contrast between the swing itself and the ground. Nicely done! -8

"Absence". Not "absense". Ho hum, another swing. Nice black and white though., and good attempt from the photographer. Definitely meets the challenge.

I would like to see this picture in color to compare the two. 7.

It's looking like an medieval torture thingy, but it's giving the picture (especially the nice B&W touch) an ancient look.
