OK, but how does it fit the challenge?

This doesn't say simplicity to me.
The horizon line is crooked, unless that building is sinking.

I'm such and anarchist I bought my shirt at hot topic, this dumbass should be shot, or given a good kick to the ass. you get a 1

Colours are a bit flat and the photo (your model) could be sharper. Lighting is a bit too harsh on your model's face and right hand. I guess the horizont is not horizontal because of the chaos here. :-)

the subject looks simple enough, but there is too much going on in the background and does not appear chaotic though I would think your title was meant as tongue in cheek. What kills it for me is the slant and if it was meant it does nothing for me. you might have had your subject closer to the hub-bub in the BG and had them in motion while the subject was perfectly still. Just a thoughjt.

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge, but this one not as strongly as the others for me. Exposure composition focus lighting okay but not imaginitive.

Personal: For me this comes across as not much more than a snapshot, it isn't compelling and it doesn't illustrate simplicity for me.

My vote: 3

Here's my comments:

- get in closer to the subject
- eliminate the background, make it simpler. A brick wall would have been better.
- find a shady spot outside for more even lighting.

The title is completely at odds with the challenge. Not sure what you're trying to say here . . . I find this a little disturbing.
