Train Station in New Hope, Pennsylvania. It was a nice feeling when I drove past it. Kristen was a great subject and tells a nice story with her truthful eyes. I must thank her for bearing the cold when we shot this.

Wanted the viewer to feel a wide variety of emotions to whatever they were feeling at the time they viewed it, and to ask the question, "Why is she there". That answer is up to you, which I feel Kristen helped to capture wonderfully.

Added my favorite Sepia tone after grayscaling. I'd like to try and master the sepia mood, so hopefully I'll look at this photo as just the beginning of a series of good things to come.

You got your own Sepia thing goin here :) ... a simple moment in time produces a great photo, tells a story, has a wonderful mood, looks like a 1940's period piece...also a great score.

Very evocative image. Nice use of props - hat boxes, period dress, flower in hair, train in background. Excellent exposure and focus.

This is one of those photos that caused me to stop and think. I mean that in a good way. You did a good job of conveying an emotion. Good lighting and framing. It makes me wonder what she is running from... where she is running to. The color tone works great for this pic too. The cases in the lower right do start to wash out a bit, but it does not take away from the overall photo in my opinion. Really nice job. So is she taking "the midnight train goin anywhere..."? Nice work on this one.

Can I give extra points for breaking the norm on this challenge? Probably not as I'm already voting this high. Like how this has a story. Good composition as well. A bit too reddish though for that true vintage feel.

I hope this ribbons - everything works, your use of the rule of thirds is great.... I can feel the emotion your trying to convey. I dont like the border IMO ... regardless -8-
