 this was shot for a fashion shoot in an engineering workshop. There's one main softbox to the front/left of the model, then a smaller one behind the model shining on the shutter door and the models hair.

Greetings from the Critique Club.

Yay for having something other than just a chain in a photo :)

Interesting photo. Cute model - I love her smile. I can't quite place it, but there's something slightly Sarah Jessica Parker-esque about her expression. And I'd ignore the comment about the teeth, I think she looks nice and natural rather than post-processed to death. Good lighting.

I think the angle is good (the fact that you have to tilt your head to really get her facial expression actively draws the viewer into the picture). However, there seems to be something slightly off-balance about the composition... I think it's the fact that there seems to be a bit too much space above her - maybe telling her to lower her arm a bit, then cropping the photo more tightly would have improved it. Also, the bit on the right where the lines stop and the wall starts doesn't quite seem to fit in. It's just big enough to be distracting, but not quite big enough to frame the picture nicely (also not blurry enough to be unnoticeable).

Overall, a good picture. You've got the right idea, I'd just try playing with the composition a bit more and seeing where you end up with it.

Fantastic portrait - so full of life! I love that it looks professional without looking too neat imaged or perfect or processed. The pose and smile are just amazing. One of my top five images in this challenge! 10.

Cute. You should have made the teeth white though. Looks like a smoker.
