Powell Street Cable Car Line, packed with tourists on a sunny day. This was an outtake from the anachronism challenge. Used the colored pencil filter for the historic postcard effect. Shadow and highlight adjustments, boosted saturation, USM, etc.

The title refers to the $5 cost of a ride on the cable car!

Very interesting. Not a bad take on the scene; especially like what it does to the paving.

I like it Dennis, just doesn't appeal to the "masses". The "masses" didn't like mine either! LOL

not really a photograph anymore, too much pp.

Your score is going to suffer, but I REALLY LIKE THIS! Good composition.

Can't say I'm fond of the editing here at all, I'm afraid.

This is a really neat shot but it's pretty far out there for a photography challenge, IMHO, and might not score well with voters.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three four now and I'm running late, sorry.

They're not usually too popular around here (ps effects filters) but the application is certainly very good with this one. The composition/subject suits the processing, for me. 8

Sorry... your post processing doesn't work for me.

Waaaay overprocessed.

A bit too overprocessed for me. Which is a shame, cause it looks like a really cool image. Most of it actually still looks quite pretty, but the gray building on the right somewhat ruins the shot imo.

I already know by the way things go on this site that you will get a lot of "over processed" comments on this but I really like what you did with this, the PP really capture the feel of the scene in a way that I can't quite put into words...and the more I look at it the more i like it i'm giving it a 10 and adding to my faves!

Not a bad use of the filter, but the processing moves this out of the realm of the photographic for me.

Personal feeling....I don't care for the postprocessing.
