A clock, a crop, a sharpen, and equalize. I like the negative space aspect, adn obviously the shutter was long so the arm could swing.

seems out of focus to me

Technical: Fits the challenge, slightly different take on a very common theme. Exposure composition focus and lighting all good, the blur lends to the mood.

Personal: Better than average.

Don't like the thirds in this at all. Also needs to be focused. The back ground changes colors behind the clock. Has potential.

Focus appears soft

Yes it is. I like the idea behind the shot but the shot itself leaves me really wanting. The blurriness of the clock face is very distracting and the blow out of the light on the left is almost blinding. I can see and would accept the motion blur of the pendelum but not the rest of the clock. The coloration on the right is also off to me, should be white all the way across. A 3

Such a stationary object should be sharp. I can see you used a long exposure, did you use a tripod ?

It is an idea to have the clock off center, but that is still too much white space on the right. Perhaps it you had something in the space that related to the title - someone rushing off to work? Wish the clock were sharper.

I like the simple composition. I wish it were in focus..

I'll bet you did this hand held. The focus is soft but the crop is interesting. Keep trying. Good color and lighting.

Yes. And it can sometimes be slightly out of focus.

the photo doesn't say anything about money. It probably still woulnd't say 'money' to me even it it was in focus :)

Better focus would help.

Nice idea, but the lighting is off. I do not like the side angle view with the shadows.

Good concept, but a little too simple for me. Composition is good. The clock seems out of focus.

Although the position of the clock works well (composition-wise), the picture does not appear to be in focus (either that or your lens is quite bad wide open).
