 Unedited. Uploaded for the no edit PAD. Bananna blossoms. The red is part of the bloom too. I shot this exactly as I found it, using the old Micro Nikkor, and on camera flash, all manual. Direct sunlight was behind the red bloom cover. Hand held for this shot. The banannas are about 4 inches long. The color attracted me.

Well, that's what color will do. Certainly works in nature. I've never before seen banana blossoms. In fact, didn't know they existed. Fascinating. Great image.

i never knew bananas grew like this with the bud/blossoms etc ..
i like the contrasts between the green and the red ... an unusual and pleasing composition waddy....
