A longer lens would have been useful to get the subject isolated better for this one. Did you notice that if you sit back a couple of feet that there appears to be half of a face in the right edge of the image, with the leaf covering the nose area? It looks somewhat like the statues on Easter Island.
The tiger's pose is very striking in this image. I think you will be able to do a lot with editing to bring out the good in this image.

beautiful shot of that superb animal ... shame about the bamboo!! ... altho in some ways it sort of divides the photo ... like he's on one side and there's those excellent textures on the other
