 Im a mechanical/architectural drafter turned photographer.
I love shape. My husband needed to replace one of these bolts and couldn't explain it over the phone to the clerk at the office. I volunteered to take a quick pic to help the situation out. It turned out being something I really like.
So here it is.
Since it is not spinning I decided to add it to the still side.

Hmmm people are looking for a wow factor. I bet if this piece were on a beach or in the mountains or had a comet in the background you REALLY woulda had someone's attention. So from here on out, you must strive to take your pictures in geographically exciting locations. Heh!

I did not vote in this challenge so I cannot tell you what my reaction to it then would have been. I think the lighting is awesome, the border is a perfect compliment, and it is STILL. Good compostition too. Nice job in my book!

The colors and balance are great, but frankly I can't say the subject is interesting.
