 Well I tried to make the skin flat to look like a canvas but I guess it was to much, still it did turn out the way I wanted and the tattoo is real so in the end I am still happy with the shot.

way to go sue ..... excellent photograph, great idea and congrats on a 26th place .... i like the flat look ... the entire image is very arty ... its got a great look & great composition ... and i love that expanse of skin .. really zaps the eyes .. and that's a GOOD thing!!
edit ... a minute later ... i've got a pair of earings nearly exactly the same ..

Very nice composition, lighting, and subject. The skin looks plastic, and the shadow around the bellybutton looks like dirt, probably due to too much noise reduction.

I really like the flat coloring of her skin. It lends itself more to the 'art' aspect than to the 'body'.

Nice shot in general but all detail on the skin has been smoothed over and the body looks quite flat.

Nicely depicts the tattoo and body jewelry. At first I was put off by the complete lack of texture of the skin, but then I realized it does create a canvas feel that emphasizes your choice of subject well.

good colors, but the skin is much too soft, looks painted - there are some white areas behind the piercing and around the tattoo
