 From my day trip to NYC.
Tons of editing, used the lesgainous tutorial and went from 16 bit to 32 bit and back to 32 bit file using local adaptation and made some adjustments. Then added a curve to get more contrast and flattened. Reopened a darker version from raw and added the the tonemapped version above it and set to lighten and faded opacity, and then another curve. Flattened and then duplicated the background layer and set opacity to 50% and dodged and burned every sign I could find individually using each channel to burn on sometimes too. Next flattened and duplicated the background and set the layer to multiply and and masked out everything but the sky to darken it. Ran Luko USM technique and resized to 640 pixel width. Duplicated the background and ran USM and faded effect. Then ran NI and masked out most of the effect so it only affected the people. Ummm thats aobut it :)

To have done this much editing the original must have been awesome for sharpness and dof, very well done.

Tacky, isn't it? My eyes are drawn to the guy with the binoculars, which is kinda cool. Overall has a bluish cast to me - which is fine - gives it a coldish feeling.

I think that there are too informations in this image. the eyes run through the image and there isn't a subject where I can stop the attention
