 This is a Christmas Cactus bloom just beginning to open.

Lit with a small LED hand light.

Median, Dust & Scratchs, USM, Levels, Brightness & Contrast corrected.

No colour changes. The border is 3 applications of stroke colour in increments of 50px, 35px and 10 pixels.

Here I am again, Critique Clubbing one of yours, briefly this time...

This picture violates several basic classic composition rules but suprisigly has great strentgh and impact. congratulations !

Reminds me of a picture on a poster for a movie. ‘The alien flower from the Darkness’ or some such. HA!:) It is beautiful. Very much a feeling of presence. More than what it is, sort of religious in nature. I love this picture!10+

christmas cactus I think...there is a bit too much light on top of bloom and a bit more needed elsewhere, interesting composition and idea
