I love the composition. The colors, the over burned look' perhaps you weren't more successful because of the fact that the focal point, the people on the breakwater were not so "defined" or in a "sweeter" position. Thats the luck of the draw, "the photogs curse" as it may be. But, if you photoshop out those people, I would guess youd sell a million prints of this otherwise awesome shot.

Wow man...this is great. Glad to see you succeeding. Strangely I just added you to my favorite photographers just now. Strange because I always swing by your profile to see what you've been shooting.

Anyways...excellent job.

I know the Ogden Point breakwater very well and I've never seen it in this light.

Great use of colors and drama. My problem with this picture is that the pier is in the center of it. Too symetric.

incredible.
The way the water is so still to the right and so rough to the left is such a bonus in the picture
Great Work!

This is a very good photo. Two people together with still waters on one side and rough waters on the other side, very symbolic of a relationship. Well done!

Wow, stunning shot.
It really grabs you. I like the centered composition in this case, as the clouds seem to naturally vignette the end end of it, where the delicate silhouttes are hiding. I might possibly have been tempted to clone out the wooden pole to the far right but it's not important.

Very nice ... but the human silhouettes in the middle ruin it a little for me ... 8
