That's a unique shot -- when I checked the full size I wasn't expecting to actually SEE the quail.

I like the shot here a lot, but the excessive noise (from using too much JPEG compression) spoils it's beauty somewhat. It's especially distorted on his face.

I like this. I can hear him sniffing out the trail. Oh wow. I can see the little phesant. Hope he didn't kill him. Or you didn't. Too bad about the pixelation and artifacts.

Wowww! Great capture, composition. The processing here has hurt your fantastic shot. Pixelation, compression? I'm not sure, but this is a good find!! Amazing. You and the dog got so close to this quail without it flying off.

This is an interesting approach to the challenge, the sameness of the color tones is successful and the dog is wonderful, with a subtle emphasis on his/her nose
