many people asked about the lighting so here it goes
the lighting One spotlight behined him one softbox behind him to the right(his left) another softbox bigger one behind him to the left more in front than the other , then I put a big black board to the right and a big white board to the left and reflector in front of him

I think the photo would've been a lot better without all that postprocessing. it's no photo anymore. A shame really, it doesn't need all that pp.

Congrats on 6th. Curious, did you resize using bicubic sharper? I wonder if bicubic smoother would have help control some of that pixelation from that backlighting.

An eye catching perfect shot, but IMO the face has looks to have been edited to a point of making the image look unreal and more like a poster than a photograph. I am having a hard time scoring it.......

processed within an inch of it's life - looks like Joey's work to me - so if you're not him - WTG on learning a cool style. Too much of an illustrated look for a photo contest for my taste however. 6

I find the bright spot to be very distracting to an otherwise well executed and processed picture. Would have rated it higher with out the glare.

It is really too dark to see the colors. Turning up the brightness, it shows a little bit that this is good. I hope this is doing well. Good luck.
