An image and title rife with double-entendres ... |

I think it would be difficult to make a gun look soft.....but, you did! |

I'm not quite sure exactly what concept you were after here. The soft focus works pretty well with the low contrast. I guess the idea might have been using traditional means of a romantic or "beautiful" shot (i.e. the flowing white background) in contrast with the subject of a handgun, but all in all this shot leaves me cold. It's maybe a little too straightforward and consequently not especially interesing to me. Nicely executed though. 7 |

Not a great subject for soft focus... if there is soft focus here, it's a bit weak also. |

The thrill is when it's off and kicking. |

I admit, a gun is not the first thing I think of for a "soft focus" challenge. :) I don't think it is soft focused either, but it is a super shot and should score well. Those pesky "purists" might disagree. Dang them! |

Doesn't look to be soft focus to me? |

Hmmm. So was this put in the wrong challenge? Don't get it? |
