Your photo is a bit cluttered. LOL! Sorry...had to be said. And, with that said. Great depiction of childhood. Lighting angle and focus are great for this photo. congrats and good luck in the challenge.

This made me laugh, I can just hear my mother yelling. :)

What a mess ! It certainly does look like my son's bedroom :-) The pity is that there is no way one can take a beautiful shot of a scene like this. Well done for conveying childhood though. =5

Yep, that was me alright! Perhaps a different angle and less flash reflection. 6

Titling is tough but an important part of the piece. A better title would have helped. Perhaps "Finding the Floor"

OH MY!

Is this a student dig? Where are the toys? Anyway, an interesting idea.

The idea is good. Certainly that makes me remember my adolescence, but the photo itself was not composed well I thought. Unfortunately I don't have many thoughts on improvements. I'll think and perhaps come back to it. 4, just-married

I can sure relate to that one... come to think of it, that's one thing I never really grew out of :) My only criticism would be that this doesn't necessarily speak to "childhood" since the items in the photo could easily depict slobs of any age, with the exception of the Harry Potter thing on the TV, which is pretty hard to make out...

OMG! looks like my old room!

Some will say this is more 'teenager' that little kid, but it's all childhood, and frankly, looks just like my room always did. Good capture.

I get more of a sense of a messy grown up, but I will take this at face value. No, it needs more "kiddy" stuff. It sure is a mess. 7 Swash

Hey, how did you get into my room!!!
Definitely conveys childhood but as a photograph isn't visually attractive to me.

This looks a lot like my room now. The flash is a little much in the mirror though. 5.
