I spent 5 minutes, just messing around, here is my take on it.
Duplicate Layer>Image>Adjustments>Selective Colors(Blue). Next, Image>Adjustments>Saturation. Flatten image. Duplicate layer>Dodge/Clone>Flatten Image.

I love this shot, maybe because I paticularly enjoy seeing birds in photos. They aren't easy thats for sure.
Anyway, there is some things with this photo that I think could really make it stand out more. One, the flat blue sky needs a bit more of a saturation punch. Then the bird is sitting to dark, and without that beautiful definition you can see only when squinting. Both are easy fixes, with a variety of different techniques. I think you would gain a lot by making the fixes, this photo is awesome. |
